Buzz: Sye Raa Taught Good Lessons To Rajamouli

Published by

One big doubt that has come to anyone’s mind after SS Rajamouli revealed earlier that he is making RRR based on the fictional lives of Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, will the families and the legacies associated with them allow to function him smoothly. But it looks like the leading director learned his lessons from ‘Sye Raa’ issues and carefully planned his story.

When quizzed about taking permission from the Gond tribe and Komaram Bheem’s family, Rajamouli said, “RRR is a fictional story that has the characterisations of Bheem and Alluri taken. It’s my fictional tale, dealing with the mental consciousness of those personalities but not those persons in particular”.

He further added, “If I’m making their biopic, then surely I’ve to take their permissions, but I’ve not made such film. Mine is something that happens in Delhi backdrop with tales of friendship and emotional taking the centrestage”.

Back in the day, when Megastar Chiru announced Sye Raa movie, the families of Narasimha Reddy even approached the court to stall the film and later knocked on doors of the justice again accusing that Ram Charan hasn’t paid them a single penny though he promised to do so.

All these issues worried Chiranjeevi a lot, and that almost pushed every Telugu filmmaker into thinking that making biopics is a troublesome thing when families of the dead arent’ readily accepting the facts and deals. Even Rajamouli might have learned something from that.
