Of course, the success of Balayya and Boyapati’s Akhanda has filled Telugu Film Industry with joy and the likes of Allu Arvind are super happy that film lovers are rushing to the theatres regardless of Omicron and Covid fears. But then, to deliver an Akhanda like blockbuster needs terrific music too as Thaman stood as that unseen but heard hero for that super hit.
Other day we have seen Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad absent from the pre-release event of Pushpa which is a major thing to promote the film. From Allu Arjun to many other celebs who have attended the event clarified that both Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad are busy in Mumbai, overlooking the final sound mixing and background score of the movie. And that is telling us how much hard work they are putting into Pushpa for a reason.
Apparently, the background music has to stand out like how Thaman did the magic for Akhanda. For action films and mass stories, it is the BGM that rightly elevates the scenes and sets the mood, and even gives goosebumps to the audience no matter how the visuals are.
With Thaman proving it back to back with the likes of Krack and Akhanda, now the onus likes on Devi Sri Prasad to deliver something bigger and better such that Pushpa will turn out to be a blockbuster of epic proportions.
