Director Sukumar made his first appearance in front of the media just a few hours before the film’s release. Visibly, Sukumar is sleep deprived. The director admitted that he was sleepless due to the post-production works of Pushpa’s multilingual release. He said he is finally relieved as all the work was finished.
Talking about Pushpa, Sukumar said, “It is Allu Arjun’s movie. After watching Pushpa, you’ll be awed by Allu Arjun’s performance. Everyone will talk about Allu Arjun’s acting.” He jocularly added that no one would talk about his work and said that it’d be Allu Arjun who would walk away with all the laurels.
Sukumar heaped praises on Allu Arjun’s hard work and the efforts of producers for making this film possible without any hurdles. “Thanks for bearing with me patiently. My special thanks to producers Naveen and Ravi who have become my family. They have not asked me a single question till date.” Sukumar extended his thanks to music director Devi Sri Prasad whom he addressed as his ‘darling’. He said Rashmika is a great actress and she did a splendid job as Srivalli. Sukumar said he was mighty impressed working with an actor like Fahadh Faasil. Looking tired and sleepless, Sukumar said he would share more details about the cast and crew after the film’s release.
Sukumar also thanked director Rajamouli for constantly boosting his morale. Sukumar said it was Rajamouli who advised me to release Pushpa in Hindi. He said that the idea of Pushpa’s release in Hindi was initially dropped. But he said that Rajamouli made him rethink and convinced him to release the film in Hindi. Sukumar said he shared the same with the producers who have readily agreed to release the film in Hindi as well.
