Khammam-native VJ Sunny entered the Bigg Boss house as a TV serial artist and with a lot of hopes and aspirations. Sunny was one of the five finalists and he emerged as the winner of the fifth season of the popular reality TV show.
Sreerama Chandra, Sunny, Siri, Shanmukh, and Maanas are the top 5 in the grand finale. Nagarjuna Akkineni, the TV show host confirmed that 13 crore votes were polled for the grand finale week.
For all the past four seasons, there is no female winner of the TV show. Even for this fifth season, the audience picked VJ Sunny as the winner. Shanmukh bagged second place and Sreerama Chandra bagged third place.
The fifth season started with 19 members in the Bigg Boss house. Sarayu, Uma Devi, Lahari Sheri, Swetaa Varma, Priya, Priyanka Singh, Natraj Master, Hamida, Vishwa, Ravi, Lobo, Anee, Jessie, RJ Kajal, Sunny, Shanmukh, Siri, Sunny, and Sreerama Chandra are the contestants of this season.
The grand finale witnessed a lot of stars like Rajamouli, Sukumar, Naga Chaitanya, Nani, Krithi Shetty, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Rashmika Mandanna graced the grand event.
