With Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Bheemla Nayak’ walking out of the Sankranthi release race, director SS Rajamouli was hugely relieved. But Rajamouli gave the credit to Superstar Mahesh Babu who was the first person to move out from Sankranthi season and the director acknowledged the same.
“@urstrulyMahesh was the one who took the initiative in decluttering the Pongal releases… Even though #SarkaruVaariPaata was a perfect Pongal film, he moved it to summer and created a healthy atmosphere. Thanks to my Hero and also to the entire team at @MythriOfficial,” tweeted Rajamouli.
Well not many were aware of this until Rajamouli disclosed it but Mahesh was not unhappy that he shifted his film ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ and in fact his words prove that he would always support the industry whenever there is a need of his.
“Always said it sir… The kind of films you make deserve all the love and respect! Can’t wait for RRR,” replied Mahesh.
If we go back in time, this is for the second time that Mahesh bailed out Rajamouli. Earlier it was for the first part of ‘Baahubali’ that Mahesh postponed his ‘Srimanthudu’ for two months. And now ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ is the second instance.
Since Rajamouli locked Mahesh for his next, we hope the director delivers a pan India blockbuster for the favour he received.
