So many hardcore fans of the film “Rangasthalam” are actually expressing an opinion that Allu Arjun’s latest flick “Pushpa” is almost similar to the previous film of talented director Sukumar. While fans of the actor are quick to deny this thought, in fact, we have lots of comparisons that could be felt through Allu Arjun’s performance made everyone forget all that.
If we look at the film’s design itself, both Rangasthalam and Pushpa are set in rugged terrains and the heroes of both the movies play deglam characters only. While Charan has partial deafness in the film, here Allu Arjun has a droopy shoulder, which appears similar if we have to say that Sukumar gave a disability to his heroes.
Similarly, we have Samantha’s kissing scene in Rangasthalam, through which she expresses love, and here Rashmika has also a similar kissing scene where she proposes his love for the hero.
Though Rashmika hasn’t kissed in Pushpa, both the scenes are almost similar. And then, both the films have similar rugged item songs where the spicy starlets of the songs talk indirectly about men and their thought process about desiring women.
Also, the way we have three types of villains in Rangasthalam including Ajay Ghosh, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj, here in Pushpa we have Ajay Ghosh, Dhanunjay and Sunil in a similar graphing.
Cut to music, we have a song for the hero as he stalks and runs after the heroine in ecstasy, and then a duet and then an item number. The whole setup of Rangasthalam and Pushpa felt very similar due to all these reasons and many other comparisons could also be found. Looks like the comparison is really inescapable and inevitable.
