Amongst all the present day heroes, after Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, it looks like young hero Nani has all the guts to speak it out despite the fact that his film is releasing tomorrow and any controversy might hamper the chances of Shyam Singha Roy. In a media meeting today, he simply said the fact without mincing words.
“What’s happening in Andhra Pradesh is not right. By reducing the ticket rates in such a drastic way, they have insulted the audiences in the first place”, said Nani, as he underlined the most important yet unspoken issue right now which concerns the Telugu film industry. “Rather than a ticket counter of theatre that employees ten people, the kirana story adjacent to it is getting more collection. Is this right? If I speak anything it may turn controversy and people will troll me on YouTube by keeping crazy thumbnails” added Nani.
He further said: “If you’re collecting 100 rupees from all the students in a class for taking them to picnic and ask a boy to give only 10 because he can’t afford it, then it’s an insult to that boy. The same thing is happening to Telugu audiences now when they can afford to buy tickets”.
Though Nani wanted to avoid creating controversies, he has touched up the most controversial topic of the season, and we have to see how the repercussion is going to be like.
