Icon Staar is one of the most popular actors in South Indian cinema. But he never tried his hand at pan-India market until Pushpa: The Rise, which hit the silver screens across the globe on 17 December.
Now, the box office performance of Pushpa: The Rise in the pan-India market is showing that Allu Arjun is no longer just a South Indian Star. Apart from a super strong market in the Telugu states, Allu Arjun has carved a market for himself in the pan-India circuit.
Pushpa: The Rise entered the profits zone in the Tamil market in the second week itself. And as for Kerala, Allu Arjun enjoys a tremendous following in the state. Pushpa released in Kerala amidst sky high expectations and it is already one of the biggest pan-India grossers in the market in 2021.
Pushpa: The Rise is holding pretty well in the Hindi circuit too. It is said to have collected a very impressive nett amount in the Hindi circuit this Christmas holiday season. Despite competition from 83 and Spider Man: No Way Home, the film is nailing it in the Hindi belt.
Allu Arjun’s Award-worthy performance, and Sukumar’s mass narration have given Pushpa the impetus it needed.
Allu Arjun has now gained the coveted pan-India market and he will be looking to elevate it to the next level with his forthcoming films.
