It’s New Year and more than the excitement in itself, people are so worried about a possible third wave of Covid-19. The cases of the new variant Omicron are soaring high and with this, even the film industry is getting affected. Films such as RRR have started getting postponed and several actors, from the South and the North, have contracted the virus. This, in turn, makes shootings stalled for a while.
After RRR’s postponement, fans are worried about other big films, including the much anticipated and awaited pan Indian film Radhe Shyam. Starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, the film is scheduled to hit the theatres worldwide on January 14, 2022. Citing no film promotions yet, rumours are rife that Radhe Shyam might get postponed too.
However, it is not true as makers have strongly denied them. The team released a PR statement denying the rumours and said that it will release as announced on January 14, 2022, and there will be no change at all. The statements read, “There is no change in the release plans of Radhe Shyam. The Prabhas-starrer is gearing up to hit the screens on 14 January. Don’t believe the rumours.”
This is a piece of good news for fans on New Year, especially after RRR’s announcement left fans a bit disappointed. The makers also released a brand new poster featuring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde looking like a dream couple. This makes netizens excited to witness the magic of Vikram Aditya and Prerna on screen.
