After promoting their film in a big way, even after spending crores to do it, the producers of #RRR have decided to call off the release as nearly three states have put conditions on theatres in the wake of raising covid cases. But then, it is surprising to see that Radhe Shyam is not taking any such decision yet.
Even in the New Year Eve posters released other day, Radhe Shyam makers confirmed that they are coming up on Jun 14, 2022 only.
Provided the fact that the film might not witness release (or doubtful at the least) in states like Delhi and Tamilnadu, while Maharashtra it will have a limited release, one wonders how much collections the film has to give up.
Previously due to all the hype Baahubali has put up, Prabhas’ Saaho has collected 430+ crores gross in its full run, with almost 180+ crores gross collected from Bollywood (Central and North states) itself.
Now that theatres are running partially or fully closed in Maharashtra circle where the majority of collection comes from, surely Radhe Shyam’s daring move is surely gonna have some side effects.
With limited publicity, and not as much hype as Saaho, the film might collect 100 crores lesser than Prabhas previous release is what some trade pudnits are opining now. So we have to see if Radhe Shyam will escpae covid season or will it daringly go for the release as planned.
