Ace producer Dil Raju is the one who is actually asking every actor, producer and other technician to keep quiet on the Andhra Pradesh government’s ticket prices ruling as they are dealing it through a committee. But then, many didn’t expect that he will place a film in the Pongal race when biggies drop out.
Raju has big films like F3 in the race which he wants to release on Sankranthi eve but postponed them to February as biggies like RRR and Radhe Shyam are asking for a breathing space. But then, with RRR moving out, he hasn’t asked either Bheemla Nayak or other biggies to take the slot, but simply pushed his own “Rowdy Boys” into the race. His brother Sirish’s son is actually debuting as a hero with this movie.
This is a super intelligent move from Dil Raju say many as this film is a new hero’s project will never find such a big date in normal times. With covid restrictions and theatre shutdowns stacking up, surely big films won’t utilize even the festival dates. And that made Raju push Rowdy Boys into the race, which would help the film get attention, though it may not grab big numbers if lockdown hits Telangana state.
