At a time when many star heroes, producers and directors have forgotten logic and just resorted to ‘pleading’ the government to get the reduced ticket prices to surge up, maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma made sure that his logic backed by the right information and intent will create perfect defensive ground for Tollywood.
But then, what are his tweets doing to him? Are they giving him mileage or doing the damage?
RGV is someone who always maintains that he can’t go with the flow of the Telugu Film Industry as his followers do say that he is 10 years ahead in terms of creative brilliance. But then, his bang on tweets to Minister Perni Nani has created havoc for sure, making the common man understand how Telugu Film Industry should actually tackle power politics.
But the common belief is that Varma is doing lot of damage to the industry with his talks, as he is literally irritating and grounding down YSRC leaders who are actually known for their strong counter attacks. This might further escalate the tickets row and the ruling party might trouble Tollywood more.
At the same time, some do feel that with his Konda movie getting ready for a release soon, the talented filmmaker is scoring all the brownie points and gaining lots of mileage for himself as well as his upcoming projects. They say that whenever there is a chance to create buzz for himself, Varma never leaves it.
Talking sensibly, logically and rationally about certain things with proper examples and citations is something only Varma could do. But if that becomes a mileage or damage to him or to any, will be known later only.
