In what has been termed to be a ₹ 25 crores nett getter at the box office if at all luck shines, Allu Arjun’s latest film “Pushpa” proved that his massive YouTube craze is something that the makers and analysts don’t have any clue about.
Despite pandemic shaking the whole country, Pushpa’s Hindi version is close to posting a ₹ 75 crores collection already.
Guess what, this collection is now helping producer Mythri Movie Makers to help the distributors who have lost big time with Pushpa. Especially some noted distributors from Andhra Pradesh have lost huge chunks of money due to the ticket-price policy introduced by the Andhra Pradesh government.
As the distributors have nowhere to go after buying the film at an exorbitant price and lost 50% of their investment due to the government policy, they have knocked doors of Mythri.
With Pushpa’s Hindi posting big, the producer has decided to give it back to Andhra distributors the money they owe them.
While they are returning some distributors with money, for others, they are actually giving the rights of Pushpa 2 for a dead cheap price or subsiding the incurred loss. Had ‘Hindi Pushpa’ not created such a storm, Mythri would have felt it difficult to help the distributors.
