Bunny Keeps Boyapati Waiting

After delivering a massive blockbuster with Sarrainodu in 2016, Allu Arjun and Boyapati Srinu are supposed to collaborate for yet another project. Both Bunny and Boyapati are basking in the stupendous success of their recent releases ‘Pushpa The Rise’ and ‘Akhanda’ respectively. Naturally, expectations on their upcoming movie will be sky-high among fans and trade circles.

Boyapati has already begun working on the script for this high-profile project and he will be ready to kickstart the project by summer. However, Bunny is said to be in no mood to commence a new project until he wraps up Pushpa 2.

Pushpa The Rise’s huge success across the Hindi belt even though the makers couldn’t promote the film well has fulfilled Bunny’s pan-India ambitions. He will be looking to consolidate this solid craze with Pushpa 2 and all his upcoming projects.

Also, Pushpa 2’s shoot will begin post Sankranthi and Bunny has to maintain his bearded avatar until he completes the shoot. If the pandemic doesn’t play a spoilsport, Bunny will be done with Pushpa 2’s shoot by mid 2022. Bunny also has a pan-India project with Koratala Siva in the pipeline.

In this scenario, it will take several months to get some clarity on the Bunny-Boyapati film, leaving the Akhanda director on a waiting mode. Whether Boyapati will choose to wait for Bunny or announce a new film with another hero will be known in a few months.
