The ongoing third wave of the pandemic sharpened chaos in Tollywood with things seeming to be going from bad to worse. The industry already suffers from ticket price issues and closed theatres. Now release delays of long-awaited flicks is the new issue to fret about.
The makers of RRR issued an official statement saying that the film will release on March 18, 2022. However, there seems to be a possible snag. Depending on the pandemic, the filmmakers have a plan B for the release date and decided to release the film on April 28, if March goes barren.
Amid the big-time confusion, it is F3: Fun and Frustration that is leaving its makers more frustrated and less fun. F3 is also one of the long-awaited flicks and fans are eagerly looking forward to the popular sequel. A few days ago, the makers announced that it will release on April 28, 2022.
Surely, F3 cannot afford to have a clash with India’s biggest film RRR right now. The makers already made a kind gesture and postponed the film once in order to avoid the clash and Rajamouli also expressed his gratitude to the whole F3 team on the same. But since the pandemic is playing spoilsport with the release calendar of Tollywood in 2022, looks like the situation might repeat again. It is now awaited to see if F3 makers will choose an alternative release date as well.
