‘Tinier Cloths’, Deepika Hits Back!

Published by

For the past one week, Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, and Siddhant Chaturvedi have been super busy promoting their upcoming flick, Gehraiyaan. For the same, the trio has been wowing us with some of the most fashionable outfits. However, social media influencer Freddy Birdy took a jibe regarding the clothes of the actresses at the film promotions.

Freddy runs a popular Instagram page, and many celebrities including Anushka Sharma and Kareena Kapoor follow him. He had shared a post that read, “Newton’s Law of Bollywood. The clothes will get tinier as the Gehraiyaan release date approaches.” A part of the caption read, “Necklines and hemlines are Gehraiyaan.” Soon after, Deepika did not remain silent and instead responded with a cryptic post.

She shared “Scientists say the universe is made of protons, neutrons, and electrons. They forgot to mention morons,” on her Instagram stories. She also added a ‘#IYKYK’ sticker. The acronym stands for–if you know you know. Later, Freddy shared her post on his Instagram Stories and wrote, “The first non-fake comment in Deepika Padukone’s entire career.”

Meanwhile, actress Mrunal Thakur liked Freddy’s post and this did not go well with Deepika’s fans. The furious fan slammed her on social media and Mrunal reacted with “Bhai you are so mentally sick I wish I could get you some flowers and slam it on your face and thank you for spreading hate! Just to let you know I admire Deepika. Having said that I feel you must get yourself a life, rather than sitting at home and spreading hate, spread love!”
