Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak is one of the most awaited films of the season. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to live upto the hype surrounding the film. As the stage is all set for the film’s release on Feb 25th, here comes a copyright controversy related to the film’s music.
Buzz is that the music composer of original film Ayyappanum Koshiyum Jakes Bejoy is unhappy with the music composer SS Thaman and the makers of Bheemla Nayak for not giving him due credit despite using original tunes. Bejoy is said to be hurt with Thaman for not attributing credit to him for the tunes that were used from the original.
It is known that the songs of Bheemla Nayak have become quite popular and turned out to be chartbusters. Hurt by not getting due credit, Bejoy is now contemplating to move the IPRS (Indian Performing Rights Society).
However, Thaman and the makers of Bheemla Nayak haven’t responded on the issue yet. Since several copyright issues and credit issues have come before for several films and eventually got resolved, we hope that the same happens for Bheemla Nayak as well. Directed by Sagar K Chandra, the film stars Rana Daggubati in crucial and equally important role opposite Pawan Kalyan.
Meanwhile, Jakes Bejoy has composed music for Gopichand and Maruti’s Pakka Commercial. Jakes is getting a lot of offers in Telugu and other South languages.
