Movie Artists Association President and hero Vishnu Manchu met AP CM YS Jagan at Tadepalli camp office over lunch and discussed issues pertaining to the film industry. Post meeting Jagan, hero Vishnu said it was a personal meeting but both discussed many things including concerns related to the film industry.
Speaking, Vishnu said, “My father Mohan Babu received an invitation from AP government along with the Tollywood delegation that met CM Jagan last week. But somehow the invitation did not reach my father and I have knowledge of who is involved in it. We will discuss it with the film chamber and other associations.”
Then Vishnu revealed his plans that he would be setting up a film studio in Tirupati. “Sri Vidyanikethan has evolved into a full-fledged university and we will be introducing world-class film courses for enthusiasts. I will establish a film studio in Tirupati and will do it with full support from the AP government,” added Vishnu.
The MAA President found fault with the media over his tweet when AP Cinematography minister Perni Nani paid a visit to Mohan Babu’s residence last week. “My tweet was misrepresented by a section of the media and so I deleted the tweet and changed the content in it. I still don’t know why the media misunderstood my tweet,” stated Vishnu.
Vishnu’s meeting with Jagan turned significant just when the Tollywood industry is anticipating good news from the AP government, especially in movie ticket prices. Vishnu also categorically stated that very soon the industry will hear some exciting news.
