After multiple rounds of postponement, Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak is hitting the screens in February itself. Team Bheemla Nayak initially picked two release dates but the makers finally decided to go ahead with February 25th. With less time left for the film’s release, the film unit will begin the promotions anytime soon. However, Pawan Kalyan’s fans are not completely satisfied despite the film arriving early.
Bheemla Nayak was initially scheduled for a grand release during the Sankranthi season. Later, the team postponed the film to give way to RRR and other Sankranthi releases. Since there is no clarity on ticket price and the occupancy in AP theatres, team Bheemla Nayak decided to wait and watch.
Now, the team took a decision to bring the film to theatres by this month-end. On one side, it is delightful news for the fans but on the other hand, the fans are worried about multiple reasons that could be obstacles to the film’s release.
The first and foremost reason for the worry of fans is the unpredictable nature of the Andhra Pradesh government. Pawan Kalyan is AP CM YS Jagan’s political rival. There is a war underway between both of them. The fans are in the opinion that YS Jagan and his government and the YSRCP leaders will go to any extent to create release hurdles for the film in the state. Be it with delaying the release of new ticket price GO or bringing back restrictions in theatres, the government can act according to the interests of the chief minister.
If Bheemla Nayak releases in April, the new ticket price GO will be released by then. Films like RRR, Radhe Shyam, and other films will already be tasting the new benefits and Bheemla Nayak will also have a fair chance then. But, the team opted for a release in February.
Another reason for the worry of the fans is that February is usually a dry season for Cinema. It is considered exam season and notable biggies never tasted success in the majority of cases.
Despite all this, team Bheemla Nayak wants to arrive in theatres and score a big success.
Billed to be the official remake of the Malayalam hit film Ayyappanum Koshiyum, the film also features Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen, Samyuktha Menon, Samuthirakhani, Brahmaji, Raghu Babu, Murali Sharma, and others.
Written by Trivikram Srinivas, the film is directed by Saagar K Chandra. Thaman is the film’s music director.
Bheemla Nayak is produced by Sithara Entertainments.
