With the likes of Bheemla Nayak locking Feb 25th as the release date, many are expecting that Andhra Pradesh is going to release the needed ticket prices GO before the release itself.
However, it looks like things are still unclear if the comments made by members of the special committee formed by the Government are anything to go by.
After meeting today with Home Department’s special secretary, some of the film personalities who were part of the Special Committee including distributor and exhibitor Mutyala Ramadoss revealed that just today they have submitted their proposal on ticket rates to the Government.
It will take almost a week for them to go through the proposal and decided on a final rate, in order to issue the GO. According to the committee members’ version, it will be easily 7-10 days for the GO to come.
So it indicates that there will be no issuing of any GO before the release of Bheemla Nayak or it might happen exactly on the day of the film’s release too.
For now, going by the timing of AP Government’s previously issued GOs and other orders regarding to theatres, it might happen only after Feb 25th, isn’t it?
