One of the most celebrated directors of the Indian film industry, Kasinadhuni Viswanath is celebrating his 92nd birthday today. He is known for his stand-out works, both in terms of art-house works and critically acclaimed films. K Viswanath has a legacy of mentoring many actors and boosting their careers, including biggies like Chiranjeevi, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Mammootty, Krishna, Chandra Mohan, Roja Ramani, Vanisree, to name a few.
Celebrating his birthday, Megastar Chiranjeevi took to his Twitter handle to wish the legendary a very happy birthday. The actor shared a picture of him with Viswanath and wrote that he considered himself lucky to have worked with the director. The duo’s hit films are Subhalekha, Aapathbhandavudu, and Swayamkrushi. All these movies were priceless and made fans proud of their rich music and cultural heritage.
Kala Tapasvi Vishwanath transitioned from being an audiographer into making films, under the guidance and support of Adurthi Subba Rao and K. Ramnoth. With his debut film, Aatma Gowravam (1965), he saw many highs in a career spanning 60 years and 53 feature films, in Telugu and Hindi.
