Within a day, we’re going to witness another massive storm hitting Tollywood and that is none other than Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak. While there are many expectations on this movie, even distributors are also betting quite high on this film as they poured huge money to bag the rights.
According to trade circles, Bheemla Nayak’s pre-release business has touched a whopping ₹ 110 crores across the globe. Buzz has that Dil Raju offered nearly ₹ 35 crores to own Nizam rights, while various distributors bought Andhra rights for a total of more than ₹ 53 crores.
At the same time, other states’ rights are said to have fetched nearly ₹ 9 crores for the producer, while they have sold Overseas for another ₹ 9 crores. All in all, the business stands at nearly ₹ 105-107 crores and the movie will get a breakeven if it touches the might 110 crores mark.
If at all Pawan Kalyan’s star power pulls off this feat effortlessly then we could easily say that Tollywood’s box office got restored after the third wave effect, and the audience is ready to flock to theatres big time for the upcoming season where we have the likes of RRR and Radhe Shyam hitting cinemas.
At the same time, this will be the first ever ₹ 100 crore ‘share’ mark movie for Pawan Kalyan as well after a long time as his previous film like Vakeel Saab hasn’t had a great run in theatres due to the pandemic. However, that film collected nearly ₹ 36 crores share on Day 1, thus becoming the biggest share ever in Pawan’s career. We have to see what happens with Bheemla Nayak.
