Star heroine Rashmika Mandanna is all set to foray into Bollywood this year. Currently, she has two Hindi films in hand, Mission Majnu and Goodbye.
Generally, it is assumed that South Indian heroines don’t get many offers in Bollywood. But Rashmika doesn’t feel the same. Speaking in a recent interview with the Deccan Chronicle, Rashmika said, “I feel when you do the right film and feel right about yourself that’s when things work.”
The Chalo actress said that her South Indian films brought her wide fame in North India. She said that people in the North now call her by her character names like Srivalli (Pushpa) and Geetha (Geetha Govindam).
Rashmika says that Bollywood is like any other industry for her. She says, “I look forward to doing impactful roles and giving my best. Language has never been a barrier because I always enjoyed doing roles in various languages.”
The 25-year-old actress stated that she doesn’t want to be tagged as a North actress or a South actress. She wants to be a pan-India actress.
On the film front, Rashmika’s next release is Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu, which is all set to hit the screens on March 4.
