Megastar Chiranjeevi is an inspiration for many young actors who are working in the film industry right now. Very often, we see various heroes mentioning Chiru as their inspiration to get into acting. Meanwhile, there is one-star hero who got inspired by not only Chiru’s acting skills but also his philanthropy activities.
We are talking about versatile actor Suriya. Apparently, Chiru was Suriya’s inspiration to start his NGO Agaram Foundation.
The pre-release event of Suriya’s upcoming release ET was held last night in Hyderabad. Speaking at the event, the actor said, “Chiranjeevi garu saved a lot of lives through his blood bank. He is the one who inspired me to do something for society. That’s when I started my foundation in Chennai.”
Suriya thanked the Telugu audiences for accepting him as their own hero and not an other-language actor. He says that Hyderabad always feels like a hometown for him. He also stated that he will forever remain indebted to Allu Aravind for introducing him to the Telugu audiences.
ET is going to be Suriya’s first theatrical release in the post-pandemic era. His last two films, Soorarai Pottru and Jai Bhim opted for a direct OTT release.
Directed by Pandiraj, ET features Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead. It will hit the screens on March 10.
