People are spending some quality time with their families, thanks to pandemic. They have become skilful in time management as well. Weddings are also taking place in their hometowns, rather than in foreign countries.

My films Aakasam Nee Haddhu Raa and Jai Bhim were released on OTT to thumping response. I got appreciative calls from Kolkata as well.
How far the digital business favored producers?
Digital business is surely giving a boost for producers. New directors, writers and new stories have come to light. After the Pandemic, Pushpa and Bheemla Nayak were also released in theatres and garnered good collections. Thus, the conditions were conducive for the films to make strong business.
Allu Aravind’s Aha introduced many talents. Rajamouli’s films have generated lot of buzz. Many Tamil stars have become familiar to Telugu audience. Movie buffs are enjoying content rich films made in Malayalam. This somehow has brought big change in the film industry.
From Delhi to Mumbai new production houses have extended their wings. A big change has come in making of action sequences as well. Youth are showing interest in watching content-based movies, other than fantasy entertainers. These revolutionary changes are contributing to further progress of the industry. Youth are watching unique and content-oriented movies in first weekend itself. Producers are very happy with this development.

We made a film with Pandiraj under our home banner 2D Entertainment and it was released in Telugu as Chinababu. Pandiraj is known for making pure family entertainers. Vice President Of India Sri Venkaiaih Naidu watched the movie and tweeted to appreciate us.
The happenings in the society are taken as the core point of the movie. Not just people in Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, everybody in the country will get connected to the story. The incidents we have taken are very relevant to rural people. Director has dealt them quite convincingly.
Usually when relatives visit out home, only girls serve water and reason for the same is explained in the movie. There are certain such things discussed in the movie.

Rajamouli and his father are popular for giving elevations to villains in their movies. The villain in ET is very unique. The director has balanced both the entertainment and the emotions. Youngsters and my fans will definitely like the movie.

Jai Bhim was nominated for Oscars. Usually, a film nominated for Oscars should have released in at least three states in the USA. Due to Covid, films streaming on OTT were also considered. Many have appreciated the movie. I’m really happy with the critical accolades for the movie.
Did you dub for the Telugu version of ET?
Yes, I dubbed for my character in ET in a different dialect. My director really liked it and he wanted me to moth some dialogues in Tamil with similar dialect.
What are your future projects?
I’m doing a film with director Bala. We’re planning to start Vaadivasal with Vetrimaaran from June, this year. The film got delayed due to covid, as every scenes requires presence of 500 artists.
