Young hero Kiran Abbavaram scored a decent hit with his debut film Raja Vaaru Rani Garu. He then scored a bigger hit with his second outing SR Kalyanamandapam.
He planned to score a hat-trick with his third flick Sebastian PC 524 but unfortunately, the streak has been ended because this film ended up as a disaster at the box office.
Sebastian PC 524 was supposed to release on February 25 but got postponed due to the release of Bheemla Nayak on the same day. It finally hit the screens on March 4, clashing with Sharwanand’s Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu.
Due to the lack of any buzz, Sebastian received poor openings at the box office. The negative reviews further damaged the film’s run. As per the reports, many shows in the B and C centres were cancelled due to no occupancy.
Apparently, a few theatres witnessed collections of just Rs.1000-2000. These factors prove how the film ended up as a colossal disaster.
It has to be seen if Kiran can bounce back hard with his next film.
