We are going to witness two big Indian movie releases in the form of Radhe Shyam and RRR in the month of March. As the release dates are approaching, there were many speculations about the hike in the ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh.
Finally, the government of Andhra Pradesh announced that the ticket prices can be hiked for both these films, as the budget of these movies exceeds Rs. 100 crores.
Meanwhile, the Cinematography Minister Perni Nani said that at least 20% of every film needs to be shot in Andhra Pradesh in order to get hiked ticket prices.
Though RRR and Radhe Shyam failed to fulfill this requirement, the government gave those films an exemption. However, Nani stated that the upcoming films need to satisfy this requirement in order to get considered for the hike in ticket prices.
The government also gave permission for the additional 5th show for RRR and Radhe Shyam.
While Radhe Shyam is releasing on March 11, RRR is all set to hit the screens on March 25.
