Star composer SS Thaman is not only known for his music and background score but the way he promotes films with his unique special cover videos and other stuff is really amazing. Despite the fact he’s the sought-after composer and brought to Radhe Shyam to give the film a next-level impact, Thaman says that his work on this Prabhas starrer is a return gift to UV Creations.
“When I’m going through a professional and financial crunch, actually UV Creations saved me by offering me Bhagmathie and Mahanubhavudu movies. Because of those two films, I’ve got Tholiprema and that led me to Trivikram garu. After I’ve done Aravinda Sametha, the rest is history. I’m what I’m today because Trivikram garu and UV Creations are a ladder to that path. So Radhe Shyam is my return gift to them” says Thaman.
But how did the Maestro end up doing this film when there are Bollywood composers creating the BGM for Hindi version, and Justin Prabhakaran doing the Telugu version? “I’ve met UV Vamsi on a flight to Mumbai. When he showed me the trailer and the film as well on the flight, I’ve suggested him alter the background score to change the impact. That’s when he asked me to come aboard” says Thaman, adding that he couldn’t say no to them.
The talented composer has delivered different background scores for both Telugu and Hindi versions as well. However, he’s all praise for the composer of Telugu version songs, Justin Prabhakaran, and wished that Justin will soon become top music director here.
