Buzz: Veteran Actress’ Comeback With Chiru’s Godfather

Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy with the shooting works of his upcoming film Godfather. Directed by Mohana Raja, this movie is an official remake of the 2019 Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer.

According to the latest sources, veteran actress Mucherla Aruna has been roped in to play a key character in this movie. However, we don’t know which character is she playing in the film.

Meanwhile, it is being assumed that Aruna will reprise Manju Warrier’s role from the original. Manju played the role of the hero’s sister in the Malayalam version. This is a very crucial role in the movie. It looks like the Godfather makers roped in Aruna for that key character.

Earlier, it was reported that Shobana is in consideration for this character. But finally, it looks like Aruna has bagged that role.

It has been more than three decades since Aruna was seen on the silver screen. She is popular for movies like Seethakoka Chiluka, Justice Chowdhary, Srivariki Premalekha and Shrutilayalu.

Godfather features Nayanthara, Satyadev, Salman Khan and Anasuya in the other pivotal roles. Thaman is composing the music of it.
