With all the ticket hikes and extra shows around, the First Day collections of Prabahs starrer Radhe Shyam haven’t excited the distribution circles, particularly in the Nizam region.
They thought that the film will create a new record of sorts here in the Telangana region, however, it failed to surpass Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak Day 1 collection here.
Despite being a remake movie, Bheemla Nayak managed to rake up ₹ 11.8 crores share from the Nizam for the stupendous craze Pawan Kalyan is having.
Radhe Shyam on the other hand collected ₹ 11 crores share on Day 1 from Nizam, thus collecting nearly a crore below Bheemla Nayak. Many are wondering why the movie hasn’t managed to get a record opening, as first-day collections are not linked to the reviews of the film even.
Trade pundits do feel that after watching the trailers and teasers of Radhe Shyam, which are way too classy, might have felt that they won’t do good in mass centres. And also the lack of promotions in a big way like how each and every song of Bheemla Nayak is promoted also took a bite at the collections of Radhe Shyam.
At the same time, Radhe Shyam’s other promotions also started pretty slow in Telugu states and PRabhas gave only some TV interviews rather holding many fan meets. That also took toll on the collections they say.
