In fact, many cinema lovers are of the opinion that “Radhe Shyam” is a bit slow in terms of narrative and lacks the breezy elements though the likes of Thaman have defended it in a big way. However, it could be noticed that the final version of the film is actually a bit longer than the one that is released in theatres. Imagine what would have happened if all those removed scenes are also added.
For example, the track of the handicapped archer, played by Riddhi Kumar, happens to be a bit longer in the director’s cut of the film.
Though we have seen only two scenes of her in the theatrical version of the film, the previous teasers and trailers of Radhe Shyam have showcased shots of Riddhi practicing archery with a single hand and then winning medals. In the theatrical version released now, we are screened with a scene where only a piece of news would be seen by Prabhas in a newspaper.
A lot of other scenes and shots involving Pooja and Prabhas have got trimmed and some scenes removed, if the visuals from previous teasers are anything to go by. This happens with many films of course, but fans of Prabahs are now demanding the makers to add all those removed scenes to as they might bring that ‘classy’ touch to the film.
Meanwhile, Radhe Shyam is going good so far on the weekend and we have to what happens on Monday, as the film faces the Litmus test.
