As we know, Radha Krishna Kumar’s Radhe Shyam, which was released on 11 March, received mixed reviews across the nation. Several critics labelled the film a disaster, especially after Prabhas pinned high hopes with his previous Pan-India franchise, Baahubali. Meanwhile, dusky siren Pooja Hegde was asked about her opinion on hearing not-so-positive reviews on Radhe Shyam.
Pooja said that every film has its own destiny and she staunchly believes in that. “Sometimes you watch a film and you’re ‘oh, it’s just an okay film’, but the box-office does really well. And there are few movies that didn’t do well at the box-office, but after watching it, you are like, ‘wow, I cannot understand why this movie did not run well. It’s quite good.’ So I feel every film has its destiny at the box-office”.
Both Prabhas and Pooja had put sedulous efforts for Radhe Shyam and despite the hard work the team received lukewarm reviews than super positive. However, Pooja added that she is happy as people appreciated her performance in the film. “Besides calling me beautiful, people are also talking about my performance, how I have really improved as an actor”.
In fact, even Twitteratti hailed Pooja’s performance in emotional scenes and over all, the character Prerana stayed with the viewers. ” You know when you put four years of your life into making a film, you put your heart, your soul, and it gets appeciated, you feel really good,” she says. Finally, Pooja was asked if she will do another film with Pan-India star Prabhas again, “Let’s hope. He has a massive line-up now, so maybe after that,” Pooja replied. Meanwhile, Pooja quickly joins the sets of Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus.
