Popular rationalist and human rights activist Babu Gogineni needs no introduction to the Telugu audiences. He regularly appears on television debates and also participated in season 2 of Bigg Boss Telugu.
Meanwhile, Babu Gogineni has watched SS Rajamouli’s action-epic RRR recently and wrote a review of it. He said that the acting and cinematography were excellent but the story and relationship between protagonists were weak.
“Sri Rajamouli’s film is mouth-wateringly big & grand. Immense effort for what is intended to be an epic. Excellent acting, super cinematographic eye, yet underwhelming because of weak grip on the story and poor profiling of protagonists’ relations & loyalties,” stated Babu Gogineni.
He said that the film doesn’t have any memorable dialogues either. “Story is not clever; women have no real role in the film. Lacks humour, sometimes logic is missing too,” he further added.
Babu Gogineni opined that there is too much blood, lots of gore in the film. He stated that the film is not for children. He concluded by saying, “Intense but not gripping. The same director made both halves of the movie?”
RRR features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles.
