After treating fans with his phenomenal performance in RRR, Charan is leaving cine-goers highly-anticipated with his first-time extended role with dad Chiranjeevi in Acharya. Directed by Koratala Siva, Acharya is scheduled to release on April 29.
Earlier, the duo was seen doing blink and miss cameos in each other’s films. But the latest buzz is, producer Anvesh Reddy has revealed about Chiru and Ram Charan’s screen time together in this much-awaited movie. As per the news, the father-son are gonna treat the fans with nearly 25 minutes of screen time together.
This leaves Acharya much more excited among upcoming films. And of course, the actors will have a vast number of scenes all through the movie individually but “around 20 to 25 minutes they will be sharing the screen together,” confirms Anvesh Reddy. Meanwhile, the film also stars Pooja Hedge and Kajal Aggarwal.
Pooja will be essaying a proper Telugu village girl and is expected to wow the audience with her beauty in half sarees. Earlier, Pooja was seen with Charan only in a special song in Rangasthalam. The duo is now all set to rock their chemistry for the first time in Acharya. Both Charan and Pooja will be seen in small parts.
A couple of days ago, on Charan’s birthday, the makers of Acharya also released a new poster to wish the actor. The film is produced by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy under the banner of Konidela Production Company in association with Matinee Entertainment.
Acharya also stars Sonu Sood, Jisshu Sengupta, Vennela Kishore, Saurav Lokesh, Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali, Tanikella Bharani, Ajay, Sangeetha Krish and Banerjee in pivotal roles. The technical crew includes Mani Sharma for music, S Thirunavukarasu for cinematography and Navin Nooli for editing.
