When all other directors are simply posting some personal stuff on their social media pages, maverick Puri Jagan has decided to treat his fans with special podcasts. He released some audio dialogues said by him, which happen to focus a lot on philosophy and life.
Especially Puri didn’t miss his trademark wit and satire while highlighting the darker side of the society and taking a dig at everything possible. While he sounded like Frederick Nietsche and Ayn Rand sometimes, probably his friendship with Ram Gopal Varma might have influenced him that way. Otherwise, the dialogues are pretty interesting to hear we must say.
Though some of them might not agree with his comments like Americans are growing because they don’t look into their history but only the future, some say that Puri spoke the truth without giving any worry about what critics say.
Some of his interesting comments:
“We’re the virus that is torturing Earth. Coronavirus is sent by God to clean up the human virus”
“Every child will be weighing down on Earth heavily. We’ve planned kids due to lack of understanding, at least this generation should stop planning more kids. If you’ve respect on this planet, give up planning kids”.
“You cannot convince a dog to stop eating on Tuesdays. All the animals in this world don’t believe in fictional stories except Man. As we don’t have much work, we started believing in these fictional stories which led to the creation of god and religion”
“If you get your food easily on the plate, you tend to be lazy. Otherwise, if you’re hunting for food, then you will be alert”
“You feel guilt only with a wife/GF (or husband/BF) but not your mother, father and siblings. Let us not create guilt in another one’s life.
“If you treat your husband like a King, you’ll earn a Queen’s respect. If you treat him like a dog, tying him to your saree’s end, you will be another dog”
