There is no stopping for RRR at the box office. It is having a glorious run and is breaking many records across various locations. Apart from releasing in the 2D version, RRR also had hit the screens in the 3D version.
However, the makers have allocated very few screens to the 3D versions because already the ticket rates are hiked and for the 3D version, the prices should be hiked even further. That would make it an expensive affair for the audiences to watch the 3D version of the movie.
Thus, it has been released on limited screens. Now, the ticket prices will be reduced after the first 10 days of the release. We are hearing that the makers are planning to increase the 3D screen count after the reduction of ticket rates.
If the prices are reduced, then the 3D version will become affordable as well. Then, people who want to experience the film in 3D will go to the theatres.
This strategy will also boost the second-time viewing counts and also helps the film in maintaining its momentum at the box office for more days.
