Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is going strong and undisturbed at the BO for the past six days. The massive success across different film industries also gave Tarak and Charan unimaginable fame across the country. Tarak also impressed the North audience even before the release of the film with his fluent Hindi and extroverted nature.
Talking to a news portal, Tarak reveals his desire to work on a direct Hindi movie. “I would love to work in a proper Hindi film. The languages are different but the core emotion and drama never changes,” he said. He further revealed his preferred choice of directors, Rajkumar Hirani and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
“There are many but I like Rajkumar Hirani sir’s films. He made films that put us in front of a mirror. I like Sanjay Leela Bansali films also. There are strong characters. The way he makes films, his extra glorious, big canvas films. I like his films too,” said the actor. Meanwhile, Charan earlier did a direct Hindi film Zanjeer and we have to see if Tarak gets the opportunity to do one in near future. And imagining Tarak in Hirani’s film, where the latter has the ability to tell a story with a social message in an entertaining manner, makes everything stand out.
Talking about RRR, the film closed its opening weekend just shy of Rs. 350 crores. The period action-drama grossed Rs. 348 crores approx in its first three days, recording the second-biggest start of all time at the Indian box office.
