Despite being such a big movie that should recover 100s of crores, Rajamouli’s magnum opus #RRR has targeted a non-holiday release and there are no long weekend advantages. After running straight for a week and managing to make a stunning resound at the box office, the film is getting its first major holiday now.
Already RRR has touched some might figures like ₹ 180+ crores share from Telugu states, while it touched ₹ 120 crores nett from Bollywood box office already even without any holiday season in the first week with just one sunday.
And for the first time, this Saturday is going to be a holiday for the film in a couple of states including AP and TS as they are celebrating Ugadi. Trade analysts are expecting that this Saturday and Sunday are going to be quite huge and bigger than the opening weekend.
On the other hand, RRR is pretty close to pushing its distributors to safe shores and in a couple of weeks they are going to laugh all the way to banks with profits. Powerful content coupled with Rajamouli’s trademark visuals and drama is making RRR a go-to movie on one side, while the lack of any other big film (or hit film) around for a couple of weeks is giving total advantage to this Charan and NTR starrer.
