RRR In North India Missed A Crucial Person

RRR is having a glorious run at the box office. Within two weeks of its release, the film collected a gross of more than Rs.1000 crores worldwide and has broken so many records.

It is being received well even in the North Indian belt but it had chances of doing better in the region. Until now, RRR collected a nett. of more than Rs. 200 crores in North India. Still, none of the Bollywood stars is speaking about its success.

If we take Baahubali’s case, everyone in Bollywood was raving about it during its release. The hype was unreal during the release of Baahubali: The Conclusion. One of the major reasons for Baahubali’s hype in North India was Karan Johar.

Once he came on board, the film was extensively promoted in North India. He hosted multiple shows for Bollywood celebrities and all of them raved about the movie.

RRR’s Hindi rights were bought by Jayanthilal Gada of Pen Movies. Compared to Karan Johar, Jayanthilal Gada failed a bit to bring the hype for RRR in North India. If Karan was on board for this film as well, it would have done more business by now, opined sources.
