As we know, the Hyderabad Police began a special drive to remove black films from the cars. In the last few weeks, several Tollywood celebs have been issued challans as well. In the most recent update, the state traffic police issued a challan of Rs 715 in the name of Naga Chaitanya for the black film on the windshield of his Toyota Vellfire MPV.
The cops, who were in the middle of conducting their routine check regarding the drive, stopped Naga Chaitanya’s car and issued challan. As per the reports, the incident occurred on a check post in Jubilee Hill in Hyderabad. The actor was fined for violating the tinted glass rule on Monday. Earlier, Allu Arjun’s Range Rover was fined for a similar reason, and before that, actor Kalyan Ram was issued a challan as well.
Chay was allowed to leave the spot after paying the sum he needed to pay as the fine. Chay’s Toyota Vellfire MPV has been entirely de-chromed to give it a full black finish along with a fully opaque black tint on the windscreen. It is to be noted that the state police have issued several warnings regarding the ongoing programme.
On the work front, Chay will soon make his big Bollywood debut in Laal Singh Chaddha, the Hindi remake of Forrest Gump. The film stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The film is slated to release in August this year. The actor is also busy with his debut web series, Dootha.
