In recent times, as we have already discussed, low-budget movies have succumbed to the pressure created by biggies like Radhe Shyam and RRR. Movies like Standup Rahul, Mishan Impossible, and even Ghani haven’t even made minimum money at the box office..
Understanding the fact small movies won’t survive the impact being created by big ticket films, now some other Telugu makers postponed their releases. With Beast and KGF2 in theaters already, and mass centres celebrating these films in Telugu states as well, the makers of Naga Sourya’s Krishna Vrinda Vihari and Viswaksen’s Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam have postponed their releases from April 22 also.
Though there is a week gap between the release of these two small films and that of KGF2, somehow the distributors felt that it is a short gap, and the films won’t survive. As audience are also gearing up to watch only big massy entertainment on the screen, definitley the hang over that will be given by KGF2 and Beast will impact for at least 2-3 weeks is what Tollywood believes right now.
