Acharya Pre-Release Event: CM Jagan Is Chief Guest?

Published by

Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy for the first time is going to make it to a pre-release event. That is for Chiranjeevi’s Acharya. The makers of Acharya have planned a massive promotional event in Vijayawada on April 23d for which they have approached CM Jagan and he has principally agreed to come.

Chiranjeevi has a very good rapport with CM Jagan. AP government has issued a new GO on increasing ticket prices for high-budget films and thus benefiting Tollywood. This will be the first ever meeting of Chiranjeevi and Jagan after the new GO is issued.

Meanwhile, there is another strong connection between CM Jagan and Acharya. Acharya is produced by Niranjan Reddy who is very close to CM Jagan and legal adviser to CM Jagan.

It was Niranjan Reddy who represented Jagan in the court as advocate while facing cases from the CBI and ED cases. Naturally, Jagan has a special affinity towards Acharya.

It is learnt that Vijayawada Siddhartha college has been finalised as the venue for Acharya pre-release event and this is going to take place amidst tight police security with the presence of CM Jagan.

It can also be noted that CM Jagan had earlier offered Telugu star heroes and filmmakers to shift their base to AP i.e in Vizag and offered to provide lands to the prominent Telugu film personalities.

On the other hand, mega fans couldn’t digest this and there’s said to be strong negativity among a section of mega fans. Plan B is to conduct a pre-release event in Hyderabad by inviting KTR and Pawan Kalyan as the guests for the event at Yousufguda police grounds.
