The Kashmir Files is one of the biggest hits in Bollywood during the pandemic era. This Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri directorial was released amid zero expectations and went on to become a blockbuster by beating big-budget films like Radhe Shyam and Bachchan Pandey.
Made on a budget of around 30 crores, The Kashmir Files collected more than Rs.250 crores at the box office. It has been received well in both domestic and international markets.
Now, this film is all set to release in Israel. Vivek took to Twitter to announce the news. “On huge demand, #TheKashmirFiles is releasing in ISRAEL on 28th April. I thank Consul General Kobbi Shoshani for coming to our studio to inaugurate the poster of TKF,” tweeted Vivek Agnihotri.
“It’s is a major step in sharing our coming goal of fighting terrorism and promoting humanity. I am told that this such a huge demand for a Hindi film is the FIRST TIME EVER in Israel for an Indian film. The film is subtitled in HEBREW. #TheKashmirFiles,” he further added.
The Kashmir Files is based on the Kashmir genocide that took place in 1990. It features Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, and Pallavi Joshi in the lead roles.
