Director Koratala Siva has very successful track record since Mirchi. So far, he has delivered only blockbusters. This made him the one of the top 5 directors of Tollywood. While Acharya’s advance bookings and pre-release business is little slow, the talk is that director Koratala’s films would get noticed slowly. Usually, his films draw attention gradually and once the film releases, it gets full-blown attention and it gains the momentum at the theatres there after.
In the past too, Koratala’s films have done pretty well post their release. Since he is a successful writer too, he knows the best to deliver as per the public and mass pulse. This is first time collaboration of Koratala with Megastar Chiranjeevi and the film has Ram Charan in significant role (Siddha).
Charan is sharing screen space with his father and he will be seen after blockbuster RRR. All these are certainly working in favour of Acharya which has other prominent cast too. Yet, the film needs more buzz. Especially, post Covid-19 pandemic, filmmakers need to do more noise to draw crowds to cinemas.
Looks like, Acharya promotions will be kickstarted in full scale after its pre-release function on April 23rd and there after Koratala and team are hoping to create Acharya fever. One shouldn’t underestimate Chiru-Koratala combo.
