Just one film is enough to take you to the top chair, but then, that film is to be followed by many more hits consistently in order to seal that position. Pretty much in the case of heroines, back-to-back blockbusters made the likes of Samantha, Pooja Hegde and Rashmika the stars they are now. What if hit films don’t follow a blockbuster?
That’s the exact case with talented actress Keerthy Suresh who has the iconic film “Mahanati” to her credit. Despite the fact that it is a big blockbuster, the actress failed to follow it up with good movies. As her films lacked appeal, the likes of Miss India, Penguin and others made it to OTT and flopped miserably. Then came her last theatrical release “Goodluck Sakhi” which is another disaster.
Not only audiences, but it looks like the makers of her film are also upset with the purple patch of the actress and they have sold her latest female-centric film to Amazon. Keerthy Suresh will be witnessing another OTT release as her crime thriller “Chinni” will be hitting Amazon Prime Video rather than a theatrical release. But how would she get out of this curse?
Either this OTT release should turn out into a stupendous movie or her next release as a heroine in a commercial film, Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaruvari Pata, should actually give her the much needed superhit film.
