Other day while promoting the film Acharya, Megastar Chiranjeevi revealed that if at all he has to remake some of his films, he would like to do Rowdy Alludu with himself, but then he suggested that his superhit comedy movie “Chantabbayi” should have Allu Arjun as the lead.
As per Chiranjeevi, Bunny used to do mimic lots of people around them during his childhood and that nature will help him do the comedy character of “Chantabbai” quite well. Though the Megastar stated that Allu Arjun will be a good find for Chantabbayi, somehow hardcore fans of AA and even Megastar are not taking this well. This is because they are worried about the output of that so-called movie.
No matter which director actually crafts this film, surely Allu Arjun has come way forward than doing those characters at the moment. Back then, he showcased similar mannerisms and comedy timing in movies like Race Gurram. And now, he is enjoying a new demigod status in Bollywood as well, thanks to Pushpa, and doing such comedy roles for the reel won’t work now.
As a desire (and advice) of Megastar Chiru, it will be really spectacular to think of Bunny as the leading man of Chantabbai remake, but practically it won’t work out in the current situation.
