An interesting talk is doing rounds that the poorly written scenes and the overall storyline in “Acharya” are not just the handiwork of Koratala Siva, but then Megastar Chiru is said to have given some references for the film. However, Siva took none, and Chiru is said to be exerting that pressure on the makers of his next movies.
As Chiranjeevi had on his mind that he should come up with films like Mutamestri and Gangleader in case if he is doing original movies, he’s said to have given the DVDs of these two films to director Bobby who is carving Waltair Veerayya with him right now. While the other two films in the pipeline, Godfather and Bola Shankar, are not bothering Chiru because they are remakes of a hit Tamil and Malayalam film respectively.
After Bobby’s storyline written with support from Kona Venkat hasn’t excited Chiru, he’s said to have asked them to mold the story based on Mutamestri as well as Gangleader’s kind of heroism and emotions. Some say that these directors and writers are blindly following the DVDs given by Chiru, and those old-school emotions might not work big time now.
Cinema experts say that Chiranjeevi should stop giving those old DVDs as they will lead to carving out another old wine in a new-bottle kind of film only. On the other hand, when originals like Acharya failed to mesmerise the audience, Chiranjeevi’s inputs from old films might work big time, say Mega fans. Let’s see what happens.
