The recent release from the production house, Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness, also proves the same. This Sam Raimi directorial got terrific earnings at the Indian box office during the opening weekend.
According to the trade reports, Doctor Strange 2 collected Rs. 94.64 crores in India from May 6 to May 8. With this feat, the film got the biggest opening in India among Hollywood films in 2022.
It also got the fourth-highest day one openings in our country among Hollywood biggies. It also got the fourth-highest opening weekend collections among Hollywood films in India.
As there are no big releases till this Friday, Doctor Strange is expected to do well in the next few days as well.
This superhero film featured Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Benedict Wong in the key roles.
