Ever since the full video song “Komaram Bheemudo” from RRR is out on the internet, there are various debates going on, about the way legendary director Rajamouli might have carved out this song.
The way he showcased pain both in the eyes of NTR as well as Ram Charan, and then bringing out that patriotic feel amongst the public against the tyranneous British rulers, is outstanding.
However, some film enthusiasts have found lots of similarities between this song and a scene from 2004’s super hit film “The Passion Of The Christ” movie’s scary scene where Jesus is flogged by Roman soldiers.
Before he walks the town’s streets to get crucified, actually Jesus is tortured heavily in a public scourging sequence. The scene’s anatomy is like Roman soldiers make fun, Jesus being chained, then flogged that his skin peels off and blood scatters all over, and then crowds gets shocked while his mother and Mary Magdalene feels the pain.
Guess what, the structure of that scene actually fits perfectly into the Komaram Bheemudo song, and they say that Rajamouli might have got inspired from this torturous scene to create his own version of it. Well, that’s what you call getting inspired and perfectly replicating the emotion in a different way altogether.
