No ‘Thaman Mark’ In Sarkaru Vaari Paata

Music director Thaman is on a roll these days. He has been composing music for many big Tollywood films and also received accolades for most of his recent projects. But he has failed completely with Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

Thaman’s music is the biggest letdown of this film. Be it songs or the background score, everything from his department was not up to the mark.

Barring Kalavathi and Penny, the other two songs are forgettable. The background score was not upto the mark as well. It failed to elevate crucial scenes in the movie.

Thaman collaborated with Mahesh Babu after a gap of 8 years. They both had worked together in the past for Dookudu and Aagadu. Sarkaru Vaari Paata is Thaman’s weakest work for Mahesh and also his weakest work in the recent times.

Usually by this time, the fans would be sharing videos from theatres and appreciated Thaman for hia contribution. We have witnessed this for all his recent biggies except for SVP. Many Mahesh’s fans have opined that Devi Sri Prasad would have given a better score for the actor than Thaman.

The star composer is also working for Mahesh’s next film with Trivikram. We have to see if he redeems himself and comes up with a better work for that movie.
